I have a home that was built 6 years ago, the blower motor on the furnance was buzzing on start-up, last year it finally locked up so I had it replaced last Feb 2009, now the new motor is making the same buzzing sound. I had the AC tech come back out and realized it was pulling 15+ amps at start-up, but couldn't figure out why this was happening. Now I am afraid the motor will prematurely wear out and there goes another $600. Any ideas?

Did the tech install the replacment motor? If so it may still be under warranty.
