How can I fux it at home? white-rose Oct 10, 2009, 04:56 AM Haha oh gosh the typical green hair dilemma. Okay it almost sounds like you might have tried to color your blonde hair brown? I have been a hairstylist for two years now, so what I would do honestly? Just go get some box dye and color it a very dark brown Perito Oct 10, 2009, 10:34 AM You tried to dye colored or bleached blonde hair to brown. Right? You need to add in red. Red + Green = brown. michellea21 Oct 10, 2009, 02:55 PM look for what is missing in the color wheel.....orange is accross from green , so when combined the two cancel eachother out .personally , i would go to a stylist because with corrective color sometimes you only have one shot and that is it ....then bye bye hair or something you wont like any more than green.....box color jobs never save money in the long run.........:( rumjantseva25 Oct 10, 2009, 03:42 PM Thank you. I have been to salon already, spend a fortune and now tried to fix it myself(( I put red and brown, and my haed was burning -the result is slightly better, but the brown is not very rich(( do you think I can use the dye withjout ammonia to achieve the result without damaging the hair?? thank you in advance!! Perito Oct 11, 2009, 02:55 PM Do you think I can use a dye without ammonia to achieve the result without damaging the hair? All dyes damage the hair. That being said, ammonia-free colors are claimed to be gentler (there is a lot of hype in this claim), and if it makes your scalp feel better, you certainly can use that type of dye. Alternately, use a completely temporary dye for a while (Roux Fanci-Ful rinses, for example) until your scalp heals. Copyright ©2005-, Ask Me Help Desk
