I'm trying to Rip CD's. But my Windows Media Player is saying that A CD drive is needed in order to Rip music from Cd's. Any One know what I need to do to get that CD drive back up and running?

Sometimes my computer tells me I don't have a cd. When I know that I do. I just restart it and it goes back to normal, at least for a while. I don't remember what my boyfriend says causes it, he says there's so many things wrong with it I should just get a new one. But for now I'm stuck restarting it a lot. Have you tried that yet?
