There could be numerous causes for losing time, but the first thing I would try is to replace the clock battery. If you open up the computer, there should be a coin-type battery about the size of a nickel. Probably a CR2016 or CR2032 (http://vectorman.net/digitalpress/sale/pgm_batteryholdermed.JPG). Just replace this and see if your system starts keeping time again.

Good luck,
WallyH

I know when I was school our server time would reset to 12 every windows update, we changed this to manual update and this seemed to fix this when we updated manually, no more resets.
Not sure if this is your problem, but worth the check if its not the cmos battery.
