I need to change the drive belt on an LX176 John Deere garden tractor. What is the best way to get the tension pulley off to remove the old belt? The drive belt not the belt for the mower deck.

Hi,
Lock park brake! That removes the tension. Then it is a matter of loosening and/or removing some idlers and guides. Do the installation at both ends (I do transaxle first) and then do the middle (idlers.)
Picture is listed as "LX1xx" and is the second picture (with the "S" in it.)
