Hi,
Im trying to find out how and what is the best route to get my son a passport for travel and to help him through his life.

Us, the parents are Father with South African passport, and an EU Family permit to reside in the UK and the Mother with a German passport, which she got through her dad being born in Germany.

Now I was hoping there is a way that my son can inherit the german passport through his mommy as he already has a South African passport through me, but thats not really worth anything and can hardly get him into South Africa.

We live in the UK, and I can get him an EU Family permit the same way I did, but takes 5 years to get a British passport...and we dont want one of those really.

How do we go about it and will this be possible? your help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
