Is it better to book shore excursions with the cruise line or wait and book them at the port when you get to the island?

Do all your bookings with the cruise line first, trust me, it is the best option. If you book them at the port upon docking they probably won't correspond with the ship's schedule, then you will be out of luck, and out of time in most cases.

Anyways, you will find it cheaper to do it through the cruise line, and they will have better options of what to see and do.
