Have mantus tiller with a 4cyl honda and it won't start. It has good spark and it has fuel. Someone said maybe a seal is out? Seems like it has good compression when you pull it over with my finger on the hole>? Any ideas what I can check for.. if you put some fuel in the cyl or the carb still don't fire?

When did you buy the fuel that is in the tank? I would dump the tank and drain the carb bowl and then refill with fresh gas recently bought. Seal, ask them what seal they are talking about.

I did take the carb apart and cleaned it and put new fuel in it.. new plug init. Has a nice blue spark so not sure what to do from here..

Sorry but without capital letters and punctuation that sentence goes in circles. "it ran it wouldnt start " It can't be both, what did you mean to say?

Sorry about three months ago it ran. It did stop running but I was done with it. Didn't give it much thought till now when I went to us it again. It won't start. Thanks

OK that means something actually failed 3 months ago. This isn't a starting problem alone, it outright stopped running. When you have the carb bowl removed and raise and lower the float does the flow of gas start and stop?

There is not a bowl its like a warbro carb on it. Took it apart and cleaned it. When I first tried to start it there was no spark. I replace the coil and has good spark now.. but dose not fire... even when you put some fuel in the carb or the cyl.

I have not had much success with those little guys. Walbro Carb Tune up! (http://tech.flygsw.org/walbro_tuneup.htm)

Hi,
While I have had plenty of success with rebuilding 1000s of Walbros, my experience with those engines is that the main culprit is valve adjustment. If they are out much, it performs badly, if at all.
Understand that both adjust to about 0.003" (intake a snug fit, exhaust slightly loose.) Here is the manual:
