Hi I have connected my DVD player to a series 5 LCD Samsung TV but can't get a channel on the TV to play DVDs. How do I tune this?

Make sure you have the RCA jacks (Red, Yellow and White) in the correct inputs both on the DVD player and the TV. The back of the TV should have a spot where it says DVD player. If not using RCA jacks, then the High Definition cord. On most newer TVs, you do not tune it to a channel. There is typically a button on the remote that says TV/Video or Input. You would hit that button and depending on how many inputs your TV has and what input you have your connection hooked up to, you choose what input you want to go to DVD mode. Then when you are done, you would hit the TV/Video button again to return the TV back to TV mode.
