THe extension spring that holds the mower deck tight so the blades will turn fell off my Huskee 46" riding mower. I have the spring and a clip shaped like a ? Mark. Can someone tell me where it goes?

Hi,
The hook fits in a groove cast into the axle housing of the transaxle and then the spring hooks the rod of the stablizer plate and then is extended to attach to the nearly straight part of the hook beneath the transaxle.

I remembered wrong!
The "J" shaped hook goes to the brake pulloff spring (a small spring #53) and hooks upside-down (point upwards #61) on the right. The deck spring (#45) hooks to the lower rod of the stablizer in front and to a metal hook (#48) bolted to the bottom of the frame/transaxle on the left.
