My X-Box 360 has sound but no picture. It is about 8 months old and has always worked before. Yes, it is hooked up correctly. What can be the problem? Also it has no read rings now.

Sound like to me there is a short inthe videp cable. Ifit is hooked up correctly like you say that seems to be the only logical expl.try replacing the sound and audio cables.

Thanks but that is not it. I have since discovered it is a defect in them, as many other people are experiencing the same problem.
