I have an old craftsman rider mower Im rebuilding. I need an electrical drawing of the wireing for it. It is a m odle number 91725120. It has an solid state system but uses a old voltage terulator. It lwo uses a key switch that take s the full battery load to start it. In other words , no solined at all. I would like to elimate the voltage regulator and replace the key switch and add a sollinoid to it. I also need to know how to check the coil and what they call the mag on it. Any help would be appricated . Thanks Don

Your best bet is to get an original manual via https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-home-garden/mower-electrical-drawing-394881.html
Bet you didn't know your mower was built by Electrolux did you?

Hi,
That is an old machine - 1967, see:
newsuburban (http://www.geocities.com/sware56920/newsuburban.html)
And finding a manual will be difficult. There are places to look. In a search engine of choice try "vintage Sears garden tractor" for the terms. It is actually an old Roper.
You will not be able to do away with the original electrical system easily. And do be careful with it as the two pieces to that Solid State ignition are very pricey.
The Delco-Remy regulator manual is available.
Peace,
Clarke
