Hi every one. When I want to start my computer, sometimes befor starting the Windows I recieve a message in black and white screen. The message is:
Boot Failure: System Halted. I hope to get the correct answer, thanks

Hi,
Sounds like you have a HD "headed south" and need to back up its contents (if you do not already) pending its failure. If no unusually sound is present, it is probably in the controller circuitry (bearings make noise when failing.)

It sounds very well like a dying a Harddrive. Make sure you backup the data. Running a Chkdsk from the recovery console will give you some clue. If it is due to some Bad sectors in the HD, a format clean installation will do. If the issue re occurrs even after that, you may need to replace the HD
