I'm installing a ceiling fan. The builder already wired the for the eventual installation of a ceiling fan with 2 switches near the entrance to the bedroom and one near the bathroom. I'm assuming the ceiling fan is meant to be controlled from one location and the light on the fan from two locations. Now, there are three wires hanging from the box in the ceiling. One gray, one black and one white. On the fan there are three wires, one black and white swirled, one black and one red. The instructions are vague. What wire wires go together?

You are sure the Hunter fan has a red wire?
