I'm 15 years old and 5 foot 2 inches tall but weigh as much as a small child - a mere 82 pounds. And whats more, I recently lost 5 pounds despite my personal goal to gain 17. :[ I really want to gain weight. My current weight shocks people and when I wear shorts, I'm so worried people will whisper about how skinny I am. I do eat two to three meals a day with snacks periodically but I have such a fast metabolism. Also, when I eat meals I feel sick and have to take breaks before I start eating again - often several times within a meal. Therefore, I'm a very slow eater and don't have time to eat much at school. I can't take pills if there were any and just in general, I don't know what to do and where to start. Both of my parents were extremely skinny when they younger, too, so it kind of runs in the family. I want to gain weight now. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My BMI is 15. Apparently I should be 20.
