I have windows xp professional and I have two hard drives the main hard drive is 9.32 gb and I have over 7,000 temporary files that when I do a disk cleanup it doesn't remove these files. I've checked the registry and the value is set at what was the suggested value, I've used several cleaners to remove these files but they will not budge. When I go to view these files, there's nothing there, indicating that these were programs I downloaded or active x or jave enabled, but there's nothing there. How do I remove these files?

How about Tools, Internet Options, then delete Temps and Cookies.
