I am only on day two of my peiod and have soaked/leaked thru my tampon.I have gone thru 2 in about an hour.I am having slight abdominal pain and some clotting as well.Could this possibly be normal?

It's not normal. You should ask your doctor about some form of birth control. That stops the heavy flow of periods. It also helps with the cramps and regulates your cycles.

You need to seek medical attention if you have been through 2 tampons/pads in one hour.
