The Doll

I had gone for a facial for the first time, just this Thursday. It had included a face wash, face mask, face massage, steaming, and removing of black/whiteheads.

Since yesterday, my face had started to develop a few huge pimples. I saw some people stating that it's normal, as the skin is trying to purge out all of the impurities.

I have quite a sensitive skin, and had informed the beautician beforehand. The sensitive thing about my skin is that it develops red spots which will disappear after some time, when it comes into contact with soap and sweat. Nothing harmful about it, though.

So what is the reason behind my outburst of pimples? Please kindly advise, thanks!

You have been given the correct answer as to why you are having a breakout. Its because your skin is sloughing off impurities. If you keep on having regular facials, you will be ahead of the game You can use an exfoliant 3 times a week though, which is just as good. I use St. Ives appricot scrub.
