Hi everyone,
I've recently noticed that I have been having a strange discharge from my vagina. It is lumpy white, doesn't smell, but the lumps tastes strongly tangy to me (at least more so than I normally do. It's like someone took my regular flavor and just up'ed the tang. My boyfriend thinks my genitals taste fine), no itching, no pain and I don't notice anything wrong with my labial skin. I haven't changed any of my products (soaps, pads, tampons etc). I have also been on the pill for four years (but stopped for the month of July and restarted three and a half weeks ago). I've only noticed it with my new boyfriend, never before, so I'm worried it might also have some connection to him. I plan on seeing my doctor, but she is booked solid and I want to see if I should make an emergency appointment.

Thanks in advanced!

Whatever it turns out to be I'm sure it's the new boyfriend giving it to you. Would suggest that once you find out what it is that he goes and gets treated for this as you could get this problem cleared up and he'll just reinfect you again and again or keep passing it onto his next sex partner. Sounds like a yeast or thrush type problem. Not all yeast problems smell at first but will eventually.
