Can you help me find a solution to this problem please.
A few days ago I suddenly found that I do not have access to my 'Favorites' via the documents file although fortunately I still do have access as usual to Favorites/Bookmarks on IE and Firefox browser pages.

When I go to Documents File 'Favorites' and click on an icon...... nothing happens. When I click on Favorites ( next to tools) at the top of the page and get the drop down list then click on any favorite. I get the message: Windows ne trouve pas('nul')
Translation, ' Windows cannot find('Zero') '.
I must explain that my Windows is French Language but most of my downloads are in English.
I have two programmes which provide quick access to Bookmarks/Favorites neither of which will now open the individual browser pages.

My OS is : Microsoft Windows XP, Family Edition?version 2002, Service Pack3, Language French

are you using wireless?

only thing that comes to mind is:
-click start, run and type services.msc
Hit enter

go down list till you see Wireless Zero Configuration
-If the service is not 'started', right click and go to properties
-Make sure that the service is set to 'Automatic'
-click start and then apply

Hi,
Thank you for your effort to find a solution.
The problem is on my desktop computer which is my main computer, connected to a laptop via a wireless router connection.
Nevertheless I tried your suggestion and typed services.msc with no result.

I may say that I did not mention in my original question that I had already tried ' System Restore' and temporary disabling 'firewalls' in an attempt to find a solution.
