I have a Phillips 55pp93 5217. The picture seemed unusally bright and I couldn't get a true black picture. As I was adjusting the guns, I noticed the blue and green would not focus. Any ideas?

The screens in the tube or a bad tube. One unusually bright one, suggests to me a bad picture tube.

It''s been a long time since I did convergence adjustments on a TV.

How old is the set? Did the problem appear suddenly or gradually (over what period)?

Power supply faults can also cause similar behaviour, giving incorrect tube electrode voltages.
