I have the Lennox Elite HS29-030-1P air conditioner and its running non stop and just not cooling the house..the air is barely cool coming out the registers. It seems to be running properly but just not cold. IS this a freon issue? Or do they have a filter that might need changing or something? I am totally and completely non mechanical and know nothing about the A/C. Dont really have the money to have it serviced if its something I can have a friend do. Thanks.

Change filter in furnace. Then clean the condenser coil outside. If condenser coil is plugged with dirt, cotton, grass, or anything else, it will cause system to not cool properly. It will also cause premature compresser failure. Please let me know what you find and if this info helps. Lee.

and if you`ve lived there very long and never changed the filter,,chances are the evaporator coil is clogged also,,,this my friend is something a non machanical person probably can`t do ,,,,,do what dad77 told you and get back to us,,,,,,
