Well I guess I'll be the first when it arrives sometime this week. I'll keep u guys updated so sexy Aug 18, 2009, 02:58 PM yes please keep me updated!!!!!!No one used this? Well I guess I'll be the first when it arrives sometime this week. I'll keep u guys updated Golden_Girl Aug 18, 2009, 04:01 PM I heard of the Funky Mommy Kojic Acid Lotion and read mixed reviews about it, some positive and some negative. From what their ingredients listed state "Kojic acid, distilled water, vegetable, soya oil, aloe vera extract, moisturizing oil, grapeseed extract, Vitamin A & C." Kojic acid is the only lightening ingredient mentioned and it is not really strong when used alone. It works better along with other lighteners. Grape seed extract and vitamin C can lighten a little, but they are far at the bottom of the list (most likely less than 0.01%) so theres very little amount and won't lighten much, if any. Looking at their before and after photos they are not convincing and their packaging doesn't really look too professional and are cheaply presented. Personally, I wouldn't buy it. But you can take a look at this thread that was posted on how the owner of Funky Mommy was actually banned from this forum http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/skin-lightening/fraud-deciet-multiple-user-names-322477.html This thread is also posted at the top of our skin lightening board titled "Fraud and Deciet multiple user names" to warn everyone here. So, I'm thinking also that Funky Mommy.net is a scam. weezing Aug 18, 2009, 05:46 PM Well I've heard good review but I have not seen any before and after photos so u can please give me a link to the photos and the mixed reviews Golden_Girl. Also I don't think Funky Mommy is a scam and I don't see anything wrong with that packaging I've orderd a bar of glutathione and it was in a brown box with the funky mommy logo on it. weezing Aug 18, 2009, 05:48 PM Also there was a member on here that got awesome results from using gluta c cream along with the glutathione soap so sexy Aug 18, 2009, 07:01 PM ......well i used the FM cream and it just made me really red. so sexy Aug 18, 2009, 07:02 PM I too used pure kojic acid and I didnt see any results. I still have a tube of KAI heard of the Funky Mommy Kojic Acid Lotion and read acd aidmixed reviews about it, some positive and some negative. There are 2 photos on her blog when you go on to her site. Her blog is listed on the left under the title "Links", along with other links. Then scroll almost to the bottom and you will see the before and after photo, I'll also post them up here. Funky Mommy's Blog (http://www.funkymommy.net/blog/) http://www.funkymommy.net/blog/uploaded_images/eyelash%281%29-718008.jpg http://www.funkymommy.net/blog/uploaded_images/eyelash-737249.jpg ...nothing to be seen, not much obvious difference. How were the instructions printed, were they printed on a plain sheet of printing paper? For a product to cost between $24-38, printing paper doesn't do it justice. Anyone can print a logo, I design logos everyday. And for the price of the product, the website is quite cheesy and below standard. Not saying presentation is everything, but for such a price tag they usually go hand in hand. I know I can be quite judgemental about this, but I feel I have to be now when buying a skin lightener. The reason why I called her a scammer because she was removed from this forum from the Experts for opening various accounts using the same IP address" "Atlas Brennon Carmen Tere 431 Simply Jane Vigil Ante" http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/skin-lightening/fraud-deciet-multiple-user-names-322477.html ...as well as making false claims about the product as well as lying. Much of the evidence is right there. Honestly, I wouldn't want to buy anything from a company that would go to such lengths to try and con me. Besides, looking at the ingredients for the funky mommy kojic acid lotion, kojic acid does help with the lightening so it may possibly help to lighten a spot or two. But in their description section I think they are stretching the truth a bit. But, as I mentioned before I'm only noting what I have observed, so try it and keep us updated with the results. weezing Aug 19, 2009, 02:44 AM There are 2 photos on her blog when you go on to her site. Well could u give me the link to her blog entry because when I typed in kojic acid lotion the only thing that came up was a entry about when she googled searched FM Kojic Acid Lotion and the third search result was a post on here talking about how good the lotion was but when she clicked on the link it was deleted. I also made a post on that too in which no one responded. Also I skimmed though her blog entrys and she talks about how AMHD is biased and banned almost everyone who talked about FM and most of the comments of her blog post are from ex AMHD users who were banned for being acused of selling just because they gave another member a link to a website and AMHD ex memmbers who were not bannedsay FM products worked well for them but didn't want to share in fear of being banned from AMHD and one user said they used some thing recommended by punk chic "the skin lightening expert" and skin was messed up and FM products fixed it. I wanna why she's a expert. Isn't that crazy lol. Also I notice she only did close ups pics of her face when she promotes make up so I don't think she has any before and after pics of her using the cream or lotion. When I orderd the soap it was last year and it was in a brown box the intructions was on a paper inside but the site and the packaging has gone through drastic changes since then and also there's not much u can put a 120ml bottle besides a logo and instructions. weezing Aug 19, 2009, 02:55 AM And btw those before and after pics that you posted are of her using the the heated eyelash curler she sells maybe you weren't paying attention when you took them from her blog and where are those mixed reviews I need to see them. weezing Aug 19, 2009, 03:02 AM She also talks about why her ip adress might have matched those other users. You should read and know that she is not a scam weezing Aug 19, 2009, 12:35 PM *waits for reply* Golden_Girl Aug 19, 2009, 03:08 PM Weezing, you can't expect me to be up here 24 hrs a day around the clock. Just as I wouldn't expect you to sit and wait for me to post every second of the hour. I am on here alot that is true, but I do sleep and I do work. So, it doesn't work like that. You had mentioned "she also talks about why her ip adress might have matched those other users". Sorry, but an IP Adress is like a fingerprint, you can't have the same IP adress along with another person(s) unless you are using a public computer and the other people just happen to also be members of the same skin lightening forum and all happen to use the same product, that's very highly unlikely. What Is My IP Address? - Can someone find out who I am? (http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticpages/index.php/can-someone-find-me) When people mention their experiences on a product, it isn't fair for the positives to only stay posted and the negatives to be taken down or the people banned for sharing their experiences. How would you be able to trust the product then whithout asking why some information was hidden? Sorry for the mix up with the eyelash before and after picts, I think I got too excited. That's true though, there are photos of a person in relation with her other products like the eyelash curler, the colored contacts, for the s. napkins they are a product of Love Moon Anion so I can't count that Funky Mommy's Blog (http://www.funkymommy.net/blog/) About the person up here getting results, maybe you can try contacting them and asking them to give you more detail about their results. I still believe her and the product is a scam and spam, and I have my right to feel that way. Just as you have rights to believe she is not. I do not mean to offend you in any way. But, all of our talk is from observation only. We wouldn't really be able to know 100%unless the product is fully tested, as I had stated before "I'm only noting what I have observed, so try it and keep us updated with the results". So, give it a try and try the kojic lotion out and keep us updated with your progress and we can compare it with all of the other skin lighteners. I will also try emailing her and request to see before and after photos. Copyright ©2005-, Ask Me Help Desk
