heyy
i just got my helix peirced 3 days ago
and i just had a few questions about it
should i soak it in a bowl of sea salted water?
the person who peirced it for me told me to rinse it, clean it with sea salt then rinse it again
and sometimes hot compress it
ive been doing that but it still hurts alot and its all swollen and red
also, should i be turning or moving it?
i got a loop ring with a silver ball and it really hurts to move...and when i bend over or something it starts throbbing
and i kno that it takes about a year to heal and when i want to change it i done really know how LOL
cuz the peircer clamped it shut
how do i take it off to change it wen im ready??
do i twist the ball or something?
someone msg back cuz im a newbie at this
im only used to lobe peircings LOL
:)

Sea salted water is great.

Just 2-3 times a day get a cotton ball and dab some on the piercing.
Once a day turn/rotate the piercing while holding the cotton ball over it so the salty water gets into the hole.

Don't overdo the cleaning, you don't want to irritate it which is why I have always been told soak twice and twist once.
