I have a lump on top of my foot that rests on the bone to my big toe, I thought maybe I had hit it on something but it has been like this for 2 weeks.

You may have some sort of bursitis or gout problem. If it gets too bothersome you may want to have it checked out. Gout is a form of arthritis and can get worse if you have certain foods that trigger a gout flare up.
