When I do sit ups, I have a noticeable bulge in my lower abdomen, like my stomach muscles bulge. When I do leg lifts, it even becomes painful, right above my genital area. Is this a hernia?

I have a similar situation that is in the middle of my stomach, running up and down. According to my doctor it is a form of hernia. I have had two hernia operations and I am prone to this happening.

Hernias do not repair themselves, you should see a doctor especially if it is causing you pain.
