Brother MFC-240C
I have re-inked the black tank and now the printer tells me there is "NO CARTRIDGE"

Of course nothing works when there is no cartridge.
What can I do?
Thanx

Most manufacturers of ink based printers build in detection software to identify re-filled ink cartridges and cartridges made by other companies.

They do this to protect their products from poor grade ink that can cause poor images on the paper or damage the printhead on the printer.

Please try a new "Brother" ink cartridge and see if the problem goes away.
