I recently found this red bump on the side of my penis and I am not sure what it is. It is sore to the touch. There is also this little black dot in the middle of it. Is is just because I am un-sanitary or something and it will go away or what?

It could be a blocked sebaceous gland and the dot is the trapped hair. No way to give a diagnosis over the internet however, so it's best to make an appt with your doctor.
