Hi all:o

I have come to USA on an L1 visa ( Intra Co transfer ) and my payroll is being managed by the US Sister company , My in come is quite less ( <65k annum ) . Is there any way i can save on taxes ? Would it help if i invest some money in my home country ? Am i eligible to file 401k ( which i think is the retirement plan ) ,,,,please let me know

The L-1 visa is considered a work visa. or this reason, those on L-1 visas are subject to all the taxes that U.S. citizens pay.

However, you are also eligible for the 401K program.
