I want to set up a newer website so I already have a domain name, what do i do next?

Find a WEB host service to host it

That's right... then you'll need to direct the domain name to the web host... then you will need the website to upload to the web host so it will display when someone goes to the domain name.

Generally the WEB host service will handle updating the DNS system to point the Domain name to the proper place.
