For Peachtree Accounting Software, where do you reverse an entry when a check, a company receives bounces after the check was applied to an account and how do you go about reversing that entry?

Last version of it I used, you couldn't un-do something after it was posted. Granted, that was a while ago and I don't know what may have changed since then. This is the kind of thing where doing it manually was easier.

I assume you've tried to re-deposit the check. Assuming you expect them to pay with another check, one thing you can do is a fake invoice to get it back into the account, and then instead of letting it charge to a revenue, tell it to charge it to the cash account, which will credit it out of there. If I did this, I would number the invoice with the same number followed by an A or something. I'd also put in the descriptive part "replacement for invoice #xyz" or some such.

Maybe with newer versions they've actually thought to add a way to take care of such things.
