I hope this has not been asked yet and if so, could you point me to the correct post.
I am venturing into the internet sales arena and was wondering if anyone has any information documented regarding tne corilation between, e-mail addresses to hits to views to sales. In other words if I have a list of 1000 e-mail addresses what would be my projected customer base to direct sales having a quality product. Thanking you all in advance.

Hello c:

If you were doing a direct MAIL piece, you could expect a return of about 2 - 3%. But, since most people consider email advertising SPAM, your percentages will go wayyy down.

In fact, it would be my guess, that you'll have to have a list of at least 5,000 address's before you got ONE response.
