I recently moved into a new home. the old thermostat used 8 wires. the new hunter 44360 uses 5. What do I do with the other 3 wires. Also since the new thermostat was installed, the A coil has been freezing up. any Information would be helpful.

take new t stat back and get the correct t stat.
sounds to me like new one is not correct one for new system. and even though it seems to be working it isnt.

also its the wrong brand,,,get something--anything besides a Hunter
