A yellow oval-shaped pill that has a v on one side and 36 01 on the other side. Can anyone tell me what this is?

You can either google it, call poison control, or take it to a pharmist. Do NOT take this pill if you don't know what it is and if it is a perscription pill. If it wasn't perscribed to you, then don't take it. Espically if you just found it at a random place.
