I have a 28 day cycle, the first day of my last period was on June 25 and ended on June 30,my Fiance and I had sex on the morning on July 4 ,he did not use a condom .
Now I'm wondering if there is any possibility that i might be pregnant, I have heard that you are not fertile until two weeks after your period, and also that after your period there are seven days in where you are not fertil.
Please can someone who knows about this help me understand .
and please i will aprecciate if you reserve your "use a condom" or you should know better comments..Thanks

do you really know better? if protected sex = possibility of pregnancy then unprotected sex = much greater chance of pregnancy. any time you have sex, even with protection there is always some slight chance of pregnancy. when you fail to use protection that chance greatly increases, no matter where you are in your cycle there is always some chance of pregnancy. so yes, you may be pregnant. you could try having a blood test done, but it might still be too early for even that to be accurate. otherwise you'll have to wait til when you expect your next period and if it doesn't come take a hpt test.

It CAN be true--what you heard about fertile windows. However, every woman is different so this rule does not apply for everyone.

Commonly, women should consider themselves fertile between cycle day 10 - 16. (Day 1 is the first day of your period) Now remember, that is not a guarantee. Some women can ovulate on cycle day 2... maybe 9... maybe 18... maybe even cycle day 30.

So yes, its possible you could have concieved as early as 4 days after the end of your period. Partly, because sperm can live for up to 5 days in the "right" conditions (ie: fertile cervical fluid).
