I can understand your frustration - we tried for 18 months before a successful pregnancy.

What have you done so far? Pre-conception appointment? Using any fertility aids like BBT or OPKs?

By the end of our experience, I was using Progesterone cream (I had an established deficiency with spotting), preseed, practicing BBT fertility charting, and using OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) to establish my fertile window.

It's quite possible that it's not you, by the way. Good luck! I hope everything works out for you.

Joanned,
Zoe is correct. Has your partner been tested for fertility? Fertility issues are generally 50% female and 50% male. A simple test for your partner may save you from more invasive testing. Your doctor can set it up so your partner simply gets a cup from a lab, takes it home, *ahem*, then brings it back to the lab within a few hours. Simple and it will either give you an answer OR rule out one possibility.

I would also like to suggest a book that helped me tremendously: Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler is a real eye-opener.
Also, is there any way you can see your doctor before Nov.? Most docs are more than willing to see you for a fertility work-up once you've tried for 12 months.

Good luck, hun.
