Hello,

I have a very detailed question. Want to know if anyone has experienced or came close to this matter. Last month, June 2009, I had a period from June 6th-10th. It was four days late. They are usually regular and on time. Sometimes can be a few days off but I know it comes that first week of the month. On June 15th, I had unprotected sex and my BF did not pull out. Panicking we bought Plan B and took it the following morning, June 16th. I only took the first pill (which made me sick to my stomach and lite vomiting occured). Too nervous to take the second, I did not take it. Felt like one was enough. Almost a week after, I began lite spotting. The first day it was reddish-brown and then picked up to a lite flow which was bright red. After 2-3 days the bleeding came to a halt. The last week of June, I was free. My next period was scheduled the 6th of July. And it did come this day. This period was light on some days, not enough to consume a pantyliner and at weird moments of the day it would soak a pad. It lasted for about 4-5days. Going back between lite to moderate flow. Nothing heavy or unusual really. On the 10th I had unprotected sex again. And twice more the following morning. All three times, my BF never pulled out. I know that the Plan B throws your cycle off and intefers with your period. I read thoroughly up on that (first time user). But the question is this. Can a pregnancy occur from these three incidents? I know that on a 28day cycle you ovaulate on day 14th. So i know that it may be very unlikely but what is the possibility of pregnancy :)

If you are so concerned with not getting pregnant, stop having unprotected sex. Plan B is not protected sex, it's an emergency plan.

Take yourself to Planned Parenthood and get on the pill and hand your boyfriend some condoms. Carry an extra supply with you.

Unprotected sex = Pregnancy
Stop playing with fire and worrying about the burn afterwards.

I want to have another child. I have one age 2. And since then 2 miscarriages. I am asking on a postive note. Not way to prevent pregnancy. I know what plan b is. I took it because I cant bear to go thru another pregnancy that is not going to be sucessful. So if your feedback is not going to be positive please be kind and dont reply. I am asking with hope that maybe i can bear a child again. Not some girl just having sex looking for a way to prevent pregnancy. Your replies that are positve will greatly be appreciated. Thanxs!!

your first post made it sound like you were avoiding pregnancy. so maybe you should be clear in your posts the first time around before you get upset with someone for answering according to what you posted. now that you're saying you want another child, my advice is, don't take plan b after!

Are you or are you not trying to get pregnant? In the first post you state that you are NOT trying to get pregnant, then in your reply to another member you ARE trying to get pregnant.

Which is it now?

That completely contradicts your first post, Plan B is not something someone who wishes to be pregnant uses.

Let me know when you aren't confused about your situation.
