My mother will be 50 in August. She has a very thick medical history including:

Heart attack/Stroke
Mid grade 3 Brain tumor
Tacacardia
and Hepatitis B

She's under alot of meds but the Brain Tumor was 10yrs aqo. She now suffers from Liver Cirrhosis, The Doctor has told her a Transplant is needed for her to survive a piece will do. She has two children, My brother is eligible to qive her a piece of his liver but is conflicted by the military. Im a perfect match to her blood type, My question is there an aqe restriction to qive her a piece of my liver? (i.e- must I be 18 to do so.?)

children have donated to siblings, parents, ect, before. i would assume you would need parental permission to undergo the procedure, but i dont think there would be a problem with it. her doctor would be able to tell you.
