The best and safest advice that can be given to you is to call your physician or the pharmacist that filled the prescription and see what your Doctor's original order was. Taking prescriptions based on advice from unknown people on the internet can cause serious side effects, including death.

I would need to know exactly what the medication is, if it is antibuse, your most potential effect is severe nausea and vomiting if you consume even one drop of alcohol. You must also be careful to avoid any medicines containing alcohol such as cough medicines.

You can't if you are taking the pills, however most people don't take them and continue to drink. I feel it's a pretty much useless medication due to this reason---who would take them, if they want a drink? This does nothing but put the alcoholic in control--thus putting the alcohol in control of making the decision to flush the pills and drink some more.
I can't imagine why a physician would prescribe this useless medication.

How can someome using antibooze continue drinking?

Sure you can - and depending on the prescription you will become deadly sick. It's my understand that staying on the medication, drinking and becoming very sick very quickly is supposed to "encourage" you to stop drinking.

If you haven't filled the prescription, ask the Pharmacist.

If you have, read the prescription label and ask the Pharmacist.

How can someome using antibooze continue drinking?
Simply put,you can't,ani-abuse and similar medications make you sick(with use and alcohol),they are mainly used for that purpose, making you ill IF you continue drinking, negative effect for the continued use.

To add....Antibuse can also cause deathly illness even if you use a lotion on your skin, or cologne, that contains alcohol.
