my honeywell pro th411od thermostat went blank. i detacted it and found there was no batteries, so i put some in. it powered back on and i set it for auto timing, but the screen shows everything normally. but now it says recovery and dont not cut on. what do i do

It is possible your thermostat is not getting power from the inside unit and that would be the reason you had to put batterys in it. Check to be sure all circuit breakers and switches are turned on. Here is the manual for the thermostat. There are other possibilitys like a blown fuse on the circuit board if so equiped or a burnt out transformer.
