I just got back into town after being gone for 2 weeks. I turned on my air conditioner and it is humming, the blades won't turn and there is semi cool air coming inside the house. This unit is 6 years old. Any suggestions?

i assume the blades are on your outdoor fan... could be a bad capacitor or fan. turn the power off and remove the fan and see if you can spin blades freely.
also does your compressor turn on?
