I have an old white-rogers thermostat that was OEM for Dico. About ten years old. The model #1f80-73 cannot be found anywhere. No reference on the several dozen websites I've checked out; not even WR.

I finally found a customer service number (it wasn't easy) at Emerson the parent company. They told me and I quote, " That's not our thermostat. That's Dico." When I asked did you not make this Dico, she said "I don't know" That was truly 'customer no-service'.

I eventually found someone that had a slight idea of what my problem was and they recommended model #1f95-1277 to replace mine.

Naturally it has all the bells and whistles and is one of the most expensive - $140 with shipping. I just don't trust this bunch.

Can anyone offer any suggestions.
