I am using two cpmputers one in my home with an internet connection and the other in office with no net connection.I sometimes do my office works in my home computer and transfers the files to the office computer using my pen drive I also uses my pen drive to download important government orders from net and transfer to the office computer Now my Office Head disallowed me to connect my pen drive to the office computer stating that it will cause the virus to enter the Office computer from my home computer He also drected to use CDs to transfer files from my home Is there any truth in his argument ? Is it safe to use CD to transfer files and is there any danger to use pendrives in my case ? I also inform that my home computer works in good condition and have anti virus protection

here are some links to refer to for some information, this would indicate you have gotten some sort of autorun virus which is usually transferred through usb drives

I would read through them and choose what will work best for you, but information is generally same issue - follow info on each page

The last link has an app that you can run to remove it through software

Autorun viruses may not be as common on CDs, but if you burn your own CD, it's possible to transfer a virus that way.

Quite honestly, most malware, nowadays, is spread through clicking on web links without thinking.
