I vacuumed the leaves out of my ac unit. When I turned it back on it came on but there was a ticking sound. I turned it off immed. Took the top off and the wires going to the fan were toucking the blades. They are incased in a heavy plastic cover. I inspected them and see no damage. Lined them up and put top back on. Now the unit will not come on when I turn it on.

The wiring was messed with so that is the first place I would look for the problem.

Did you do any checking to see what might be wrong, Like a blown fuse or a shorted wire.

Give us some information and we will try to help.
