Sent in my wife original passport booklet, to itin office three months ago never received any letter from itin office, but about 3 weeks ago received a letter from IRS saying i am owning blc my wife itin no was not include, then call the IRS, told them about the situation with itin office and check the itin account to found out that my mailing address they typed in was incomplete, since then wrote about four letters which included copy of mailing usps receipt, copy of the delivery corfirmation receipt, name of the person that received and signed for the letter containing the passport to the itin office requesting the return of the original passport and up till now have not received any response fron them, is any one have an ideal on how i can get the original passport back from the itin office.

Keep pursuing them via mail and phone call.

However, the IRS specifically states in the W-7 instructions that they bear no responsibility for the safety of your passport, and they recommend that you do NOT send them the original document for that reason.
