my ex owes me back support. he recieved a letter saying the taxes would go to me, but i haven't rcieved it yet. i'm on ssi/ssdi and daughter is covered with buckeye insurance. who will get the 1,200 dollars?

If he received a letter saying it'd go to you, then it goes to you.

The time frame for you getting it depends on a couple things:

When did he file his taxes? If he filed at the last minute, it always takes those a little longer to be processed due to the volume.

Do you receive a paper check or direct deposit for your support payments? You will get the payment in the same form so if you get a paper check for child support, it will take longer for you to get a paper check for his tax return.

Also, please recognize that the payments have to be routed through the courts, which always takes more time than it should.
