I recently moved into a home with a brand new A/C unit (never been used). I have never used a central A/C unit before, so I've been stuck on figuring out how to turn it on. I had turned on the cooling unit on on my thermostat, but the A/C unit outside doesn't turn on. Is there typically a switch on the inside of the unit that I have to turn on?

Make sure all circuit breakers for both the inside unit and the outside unit are turned on. Set thermostat to cooling and desired temperature. If the unit is new you can also call the company that installed it.
