Haven't done IRR for a while.

I have monthly cash stream that gives 3% IRR over 24 months.

If I lump cash stream by 6 months, the IRR is 12% over the 24 months.

If I lump the cash stream annually, it comes out 21%.

As my cash stream is monthly, do i multiply the 3% by 12 months to get an annual IRR?
