lighterrr Jun 15, 2009, 05:11 PM need a good moisturizer, i had to stop lightening cause the skin below my eyes was getting really dark and its sore and it hurts all the time. can someone please recommend a good moisturizer that can help the skin to recover from the trauma i caused to it.
doloress Jun 16, 2009, 05:59 AM Try raw shea butter. it repairs the skin and moisturizes it and is all natural.

but now I look like latin
lighterrr Jun 17, 2009, 07:02 AM thanks super i will do just that, how is your lightening coming along, did you get rid of your spots, i keep getting new ones daily
imgorgeous Jun 17, 2009, 09:42 AM lighter .... the best mix for moisturiser you can ever get is
half quanity of rose water, equal amount of glycerin and a few drops of lemon ( and i mean only a few drops of PURE lemon jyice )
use this for fifteen days only and see the hydration and clarity your skin will get....
it lightens marginally... not significant... so only expect it to be a fantastic moisturiser more than anything else.
chandani Jun 19, 2009, 11:28 AM lighter what are u using now???
lighterrr Jun 19, 2009, 01:03 PM lighter what are u using now???
chandani i am just trying to recover, i did to much to soon, right now i have mj white spots from the mono that are popping up daily. plus my face feels so sore and it hurts, so right now i am only using retina 0.10% on my face and movate 2 X a week on the body.
i just want to be one colour again :o
chandani Jun 19, 2009, 02:35 PM Well ofcourse your face is gon be sore and hurt..your putting on .10 retina on you FACE..I don't think the effect of mono is making your face hurt..howvever getting white spots sounds about right...
Hope fully you'll pull thru and at the end you won't be so uneven
Let's just say I'm kind of in a similar situation..tried to brighten my arms..instead ended up with dark large marks all over my skin,,a lot darker than my skin tone ,,its not going away no matter what I use..so instaed on lightening I'm trying to fix my skin (sigh). I'm trying a lotta diff things but not working at all
What is this movate ? Heard of it in the forum before..is it only found in africa ?

Girl, I used movate from north america before with good results, then i tried the african movate which i bought over her in Nigeria locally and within 3 days my skin was peeling uncontrollably had to stay indoors it was embarrassing, then after it finished it left me with white spots like rihanna white. but dont run to your local beauty store to buy movate, ITS STRONG AND DANGEROUS, its a steroid, make sure you read up about it on wikipedia, its not for long term usage, and if you currently have any health issues DON'T USE IT. I have personally expereince heart flutters when i use it.
Clobetasol propionate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clobetasol_propionate)
If you do use it though i hope it can get rid of the dark marks.
Lightening is so frustrating honestly, once i get back to one colour i am just going to stick with it, yep that will be it for me folks

Hi super shallow. Glaf you've had such great results, but wher do you get your mono? Which alcohol do u use to mix it with?
Thanks Jojo
Super Shallow Jun 21, 2009, 04:29 AM I buy it from a guy that buys it from Mono.net and from china
that guy have vitiligo but he don't use Mono and he sells me only because i told him that i got vitiligo.. i lied and it's not right and i regret for that
alcohol 70%
http://www.first-aid-product.com/industrial/M-313t.gif
not a drinking alcohol
If you don't have vitiligo
and if your skin is not damged
don't start with mono!!!!
you can't go back!
and it's hard journey
you'll feel lonly..ugly and wierd
depression despondency
your skin will be with spots ..patchs
people will stare at you..you will feel leprous
you'll have to put sunscreen every 2 hours put a hats always
don't start with mono!
but if you already in the process
this what you should do..
to make 20% Mono cream
take a jar...any jar..measure with measuring tape 20% of the jar
fulfill this 20% place in the jar with your Monobenzone powder
then put few spoons of alcohol and it will dissolve the powder mix it good till it all will dissolve
then then gradually add a lotion to the mixture.. and mix it good and slowly
I honestly recommend "Dove lotion for Dry skin" cuz Mono itself makes your skin very very dry
mixing the powder with this lotion gives balanced mixture
I'm not a Doc or chemist
but i got 6 months of experience on myself... my skin been through a lot!
and only this way it works for me... I don't know about you..
i truly don't recommend Mono!
the sun will be your enemy
2 minets out there and you'll feel you skin on fire
like it ripped from your flesh
Don't use Mono!
imgorgeous Jun 21, 2009, 07:39 AM hi super shallow....

Super Shallow Jun 21, 2009, 07:51 AM I don't heat nothing
...
I'm loner too :(
mcgm802820 Jun 22, 2009, 10:34 AM Super Shallow, Good info. Thanks for sharing it. I hope all the best for you. I also found out that the less in your mono mixture is better. I have been using mono since 10/08, but on and off because of irritation, red rashes, dryness, etc.. I am now using 20% w/o problem for 4 mons now. It's so amizing that we are finding out the same thing and using the same lotion to mix mono. I started to see spots at my third month but they are connected slowly. I's told that spots are part of the process and I am preapared for them.
Hope all the best for you. Keep in-touch.

mcgm802820 Jun 23, 2009, 07:10 AM jojo, I am making progress and thanks for asking. I have to make a very important point here, my doctor is guiding my process and help me to get a correct mono mixture. I am lucky to have several doctors in my family.
Or, no one will work with me since I only have about 15% vitiligo on my neck, hands and about 10% on my feet. I am NOT qualified to use mono (LOL). I only use mono on my neck, hands and feet. I got spots in my 3rd months and all seems to connected. Now, my hands are two colors, upper hands are a lot lighter than my lowers'. I am a light olive color so it's not that distict unless you're very close to me. I wear long sleeves most of the time now. The doctor told me that it will all clear up by the 7th or 8th month. Then my body will start the depig. process evenly. I just want one color and did go trough several repig processes. They were expensive yet painful to go through too. After 5/6 years, I decided to go with a different route. Wish me luck since mono may NOT work for a person like me who only have a very little part of uneven color skin. I won't do it if they are not on my neck and hands. Good luck to you all.
