Saw palmetto is the primary source of the beta sitosterols found in this product. It should help. Also look at the recent research findings on Zyflammend and pomegranate.

The beta sitosterol form is better than the saw palmentto. Many brands of saw palmentto are cheap and about useless (Like cutting hay into a product). Whether it is beta sitosterol or saw palmentto you want to get you really should check the quality of the brand.
Beta sitosterol is found naturally in green peppers and other vegetables.
